One concern about Legendary Slayer

What about weapon de-spawn for weapons in this playlist? Is it changed back to 30 seconds or so, or is it the quick 5 seconds like it is now? That will make or break this playlist IMO, because the whole classic style is based on power weapon control and map control. If you break the other teams setup, how frustrating would it be if those power weapons de-spawned by the time you got to them? I didn’t see anything regarding this setting in the Halo Bulletin, so some more information about it would be nice. Hopefully it is already like this!

I do wonder/hope they can tweak those despawn settings. No steady stream of Ordinance inbound anymore.

The current despawn time is currently 12 seconds. It is currently one hell of a task to retrieve a dropped power weapon with instant respawn. I am not sure about the Legendary slayer spawn times yet (I don’t think it has been said) but I can only assume they will make it 5 second spawns.

We could do with a customization option for customs where we can edit the weapons despawn times.

A very good point! I hadn’t thought of that! Hopefully they’ll have thought of that when designing Legendary Slayer. I wouldn’t want to see a great gametype be ruined by one silly mistake.

Never thought of this… Damn I hope they adjust it so they don’t despawn so fast :confused:

If the weapons are picked up from the ground… the weapon will de-spawn in 30 seconds.

If the weapons are picked up from an Ordnance… the weapon will de-spawn in 5 seconds.

That’s why I’m not worried. Specially when there’s no ordnances in L.S.
