I’ve got to say that I think the Halo 5 beta has been pretty stellar. There have been a few minor hiccups but everything has gone really well. However, I’ve got one pretty big complaint.
That respawn music, everytime you die, is just terrible.
It sounds bad, it’s constant (especially when you’re having a bad game), and it messes up game consistency. How can we hear callouts or footseteps if we hear this long, annoying piece of music every time we die?
Anyways, like I said, just my opinion and one complaint. The beta is still great. Thanks, and see you on the virtual battlefield!
It’s like 343i is begging people to rage quit. I remember friends loosing it when playing Golden Eye. And that music was classic! Death music must go. It is as bad as the Forge monitor sound from Halo 4. So many of 343i’s moves make me think they don’t get what it’s like putting 100+ hours in on a game. The little things ( like the bro down throw down) start to seriously grate on you.

Yeah dude, exactly. To be honest, I’ll probably never quit Halo (call me a sheep if you wish). However, that doesn’t mean I can’t dislike some of these changes along the way. While they’re making H5 much more like H2/H3, they’re also changing a lot of unnecessary things as well. For instance, the rocket launchet design is another generic change that’s also unneeded. Here’s to hoping they get rid of that music.
