One Bullet Earns All Warzone Boss Points?

My biggest problem with the warzone bosses is that it seems like all of the points are award to the team that has the last hit on the boss. I think they should split that up somehow. Giving the % of points equal to how much damage was done by each team would defeat the purpose of the bosses (to act as a boost to the losing team) but maybe they can do something like half of the points are given to the team that hit the boss last and the other half are split up by the % of damage done by each team.

I could be wrong about how the points are rewarded right now but I think thats what it is.

I hate that so much. My team brought Tank Master Rok down to one hit, and a filthy Red came in and took it, and we got nothing for our efforts. We need a system like Battlefield’s, were if you do most the work for a kill and it gets stolen, you get the points you earned.

It’s a double edged sword. Say Red Team is fighting the Warden Eternal, and they all get wiped out by him, but he’s one shot from death. A Blue guy pops up, and shoots him once. Kills him. By the % logic, Red Team would get 99% of the points, despite not killing him, and may even win the game, just because the blue guy shot him. In that case, I would say the Blue Team should get the points. But at the same time, there’s issues where Red Team is alive, shooting an utterly destroying the Warden, but a Blue just swoops in from nowhere, gets one shot in, and scores ALL the points. In a situation like this, I really don’t know how there can be a compromise. Both options are flawed in some situations.

I agree. It’s like losing the fire giant on smite to some last minute arrow! No!

I definitely see what you mean and agree with both of those points. Maybe they could add a timer? Say 5 seconds (which is a decent amount of time in action) where if the Boss is killed within that many seconds of the last shot by the team that did the most damage then they get the points? It’s still not perfect, just throwing ideas out there.

Maybe they could make it so that if one team does more than 50% of the damage but the other team gets the kill shot there are simply no points awarded.

That way guys can’t steal points by shooting with a BR from across the map but they can at least play goalie.
