A ballad of sorts for John & Cortana. My band recorded this last year in anticipation of Halo MCC; I figured I’d share it once more before Halo 5’s official release canon renders our narrative speculations moot.
This was written and recorded by a group of guys who met playing Halo 2 online in 2004. We bounced the recording from Connecticut to Michigan to Illinois and back again. This was our ode the the franchise we loved, to a boy and his blue girlfriend, and to the bonds that can be formed while t-bagging each other over XBL. We even threw a Bungie style acronym in at the end.
