One amazing thing about multiplayer

Voting is out in matchmaking. You get what you get. Not only does this speed up the whole process, but it forces variety instead of HURRVOTESAMESTUFFAGAIN. Very thrilled about this, 343, fantastic job. I’m going to enjoy it.

Also, on a side note, this is how matchmaking worked in Halo 2. The parallels that make this 343’s Halo 2 just keep stacking up.

Yes, thank God.

Yes, I had heard this before launch. But it still makes me happy. Voting was intolerable, vetoing was bad. Will be happy to just play.

The voting annoyed me in MCC

I didn’t mind it in Halo 3 as it was quick and you couldn’t spam the same map multiple times. But the timer grew and you could start spamming the same map more than twice got pretty annoying.

I still haven’t gotten to play BTB at all in Halo CE simply because everyone wants to play BTB in Halo 4. And I could forget about trying the remastered Relic and Coagulation. Let’s play on Warlock! Let’s do it again!

I’m also quite happy they’ve gotten rid of the voting system. This way it’ll make a more rounded player by changing variants. I cant’ wait until they give us more playlists in Arena though, I’m just happy they’ve added SWAT…it’s my favorite!

Yes this was one of my questions for Josh Holmes back in the warzone Q&A that he answered. I agree it is a much better approach these days just having maps in rotation without a veto or vote system. Another step in the right direction IMO.

Voting was never a problem. The problem was it sometimes didn’t have a decent variety of gametypes and maps. Plus, some people just want BR/DMR and nothing else, they usually shifted the vote in their favour.
