On Vehicle Physics

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds, — and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of — wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov’ring there,
I’ve chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air… .
Up, up the long, delirious burning blue
I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or ever eagle flew —
And, while with silent, lifting mind I’ve trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and was touched by a Hannibal Scorpion.

Share your weird/funny vehicle stories! This was not the only Scorpion I’ve flown, and probably not the last.

Did you really just do 14 links to the same video?

I hate how a warthog flips everytime you hit a pebble. Or for some reason hitting your teammates with vehicles doesn’t kill them instantly, but hitting the enemy at 1 mph sends them flying across the map. Seems backwards, especially how it worked in Halo 4

This is magical…

Thanks, fixed it. I originally selected the whole text (High Flight) to do the hyperlink, things did not go as expected. But, yeah, its all the same video.
The worst was landing next to a fully manned Hannibal Scorpion.
