The teaser trailer looked like it took place on reach… The mountains…in the backround when chief is walking. The object/mountain(s) look like Reach’s mountains. And why is it sandy?? Well maybe when the covenant glassed reach, it turned into sand after a few years…? Just take look at the vid. Pay attention to when the video begins and you can see there are mountain looking things that look like Reach Mountains. Js… What if Halo 5 takes place on reach?
It looks more like its on the Ark.Aslo Reach was terraformed to be habitable again.

if i read it correctly, Fall of reach was in 2525, Halo 4 takes place in the year 2557, i think. so a little more than five years lol 32 to be exact.
and honestly who knows what year halo 5 is set in. although chief looked pretty darn old at the end of Halo 4.

Harvest took place in 2525. That’s when humans first encountered the Covenant. Reach took place in 2552. So yes actually, five years have passed since the Fall of Reach.

That’s most likely the Ark. I mean, there’s so much evidence towards it. From it’s foundry, to the sand, and even the rock structures.
