This is something I do not mind one bit. If done right. I’ve read complaints that they are stereotypical “brodude” Spartans, but come on, we aren’t gonna get in depth characters with nameless MP Spartans.
Now, one thing I will say is that I hope that the voice is a customization option. One of the only good features in aliens colonial Marines was an option to select your character’s voice. Like in halo reach, remember that? You could select a voice! And that was amazing! I hope they do this in halo 5, as I’m expecting LOADS of customization in H5, and if the Spartan’s voice is one of them, that would be amazing.
As long as the enemy team can’t hear friendly chatter I don’t mind. It would be really irritating to be given away by my Spartan’s random chatter that I can’t control.
Making it a player menu option so experienced players can disable it would be even better.
No, just no I know Spartan IVs are chatty but it really bothers me.
I think we should be able to choose voices like in firefight in reach.And not just popular characters, I want some random voices along with popular characters so you can really be your spartan. If elites return I also want the same thing for elites ( I wonder what their dialogue would sound like). Along with this a selection of pitches , but not to the point where it sounds like we are people the size of ants or talking in slow motion.
But I also would like an option to turn this off.
