On the pelicans two hits

I kinda didn’t want to add to the fury here, but, I’m just curious if I’m the only one wondering about this. However before I go on, I don’t think the Halo games before 343i met the requirements for realism in every scenario either. But wasn’t it kind of odd how two huge (like, reallyyy huge) canons, from an advanced alien race, managed to just scratch the pelican enough on their two hits that it could safely forceland without serious injuries to either the pilot or MC. I mean, I’m being really picky here, I know. But it was a little strange though don’t u think?

It depends on what kind of amution the cannons are using. If it’s a plasma cannon then yes it’s kinda dumb but if it’s a flak cannon then it makes more sense.

That is a good point I think

I know the reason why

Hes a Damn GOOD Piloton a serious note I don’t think they got easy but think they were lucky to be in a pelican that can take a beating compared to other aircraft.

I do think that the AA guns were over-sized and the explosions were misty, lacking details in the flames and smoke.

My bet they calculated and hit above the cockpit and near the engines connected to the wings. Also remember it seems Escharum want to fight MC so I guess he didnt want to obliterate the Pelican thus killing him.
