While many of us have been sitting in our rooms on our laptops cooking over the hot stove that is the new multiplayer info, i’m sure many of us have fried our brains over the mysteriousness that is the inside of Requiem. The multiplayer info that we have been dosed with recently has set all of us on a hot plate, and Campaign is a place where we can just chill off(cwatididthar). I don’t really mind talking about our gameplay aspects just yet, but more along the scenery, plant and animal life, and other things that could be seen.
-Honestly i hope to see more plant and animal life, Carnivorous plants anyone? The idea of constantly seeing dangerous looking animals and crazy plants just makes me happy, and hearing that one of the guys that worked on turok is on the development crew, i believe this is what we will get.
-So lately 343i has been speaking of the word sandbox, sandbox, sandbox. i understand the meaning of sandbox but this isn’t a word that i remember hearing from Bungie very often. when i think of sandbox and video games, i think of massive play spaces( much like Borderlands) but with a straightforward linear approach. Much like other halo games with a set path, just… larger.
-Again back to animal life, wouldn’t it be cool if we had one of those first person cut-scenes, much like the one described on the dawn where chief fights of an elite, where The Chief fights of some crazy animal? i think that would be awesome!!!
What do you guys think, the main thing i want to know from you is… What kind of environments do you think we will see?
Play nice.
Well, going by that one piece of footage where the camera is rotating around John in a desert, I would say a desert.
Actually, have we had a desert-themed Campaign level before?
Rather not see Halo become Cabela’s Intergalactic Safari for the Xbox 360.
Animals would be new, but I still dont see it happening.

The Ark, Halo 3.

The Ark.
Arguably Tip of the Spear and The Pillar of Autumn (Reach) too.

The Ark was sandy.

What footage? Will you link it? I would love to see it.

I just want to see a lively environment, i wouldn’t want to be attacked by a scary monster every time i am walking
From the looks of images/videos, I would say that there is going to be at least 2 different environments: One being desert looking and another being beautiful flora and fauna.

At 1:47 you can see the desert scenery around Chief.
The new GI images show off the flora and fauna.

Ohh… I thought there was new footage out.
Thanks anyway.
I approve of anything alien as long as it’s not grossly humanoid.

The ark sorta were desert-ish.
