This would get rid of people who go into ctf, koth, oddball, and dominion to boost their kd and not play the game. If your service record just showed your kd by playlist, this would come to an end.
No it wouldn’t. It would encourage it more because then they would need to have a high K/D in CTF, KotH, etc., as well as a high overall K/D.
No, because people would looks at slayer kd to judge a player. If they have a 1.1 slayer kd with a 2.3 in koth you would think of that player as good unlike now where people only play objective and boost that
I like this idea. If you see someone with a slayer KD of .6 and a CTF KD of 4 you know they’re just -Yoink!- and not playing the flag and just doing a poor job of farming kills.

Every time somebody accused me of being an objective stat padder in Reach, I directed them to my stats page, where it showed that I had a 2+ KD in 10 different playlists, including:
Team Slayer
Super Slayer
Team SWAT
Team Snipers
Squad Slayer
I love being able to show people that I’m not some POS stat farmer.
My slayer is lower than other game types like Dominion simply because there are more power weapons available in Dominion, and I play by myself which sucks if you’re on a bad team in slayer. That doesn’t mean everyone with a high k/d in those playlists stat pad though. I play to win just about all the time.
