I remember on b.net, the race between Reach and Black Ops. That was a much simpler time…
I’m hoping we at least hit one mil.
I’m indeed a happy person due to that fact, that Halo 4 is the first on preorder charts, but do you know that Halo 4 was announced a year ago while Black ops was announced a month ago. 360 version of Black ops II alone will probably pass it when release date comes closer.
Of course I hope that Halo 4 will be the king of shooter of 2012 also in terms of sales in addition in terms of pure awesomness!
It might actually stay that way considering the release dates of the two games are so close.

Well, Halo: Reach had almost 2 million pre orders when it Launced so 1 mill is easy piece of cake! It will be easily over 2 million since Halo 4 is already 190 000 preorders ahead compared to Halo Reach on same time period.
EDIT: and we are only talking about pre orders of USA
Well that was the week ending 2nd of June therefore before E3, that should be good for us as we had a much more impressive showing at E3 than BO.
Not that I care because COD will end up outselling every other game this year just like it always does.

Multi-consoles games always have that advantage. But then again I think Assassins Creed 3 will beat CoD

Hate to play the devil’s advocate here but I don’t think Black Ops 2 has even been available for pre-order for that long, thus explaining the low pre-order numbers. Besides, as soon as they release a multi-player gameplay trailer around August as they usually do, pre-orders will skyrocket. I hope i’m wrong though.
Now Halo 4 has 335k pre-orders with a weekly change of almost 45k. It is way ahead of CoD which has only a weekly change of 40k (PS3 AND Xbox 360 versions TOGETHER).
This is very impressive but also a bit surprising to me. Does anyone know if vgchartz is reliable?

Even if it gets up to 100,000 a week it won’t be anywhere near Moder Warfare 3’s preorders. Just sayin’.

Why not, Darksiders is by far a more entertaining and original game than what is actually the seventh Halo.

BTW it’s not fanboyism, it’s our Halo pride and people are allowed to show their pride instead of sucking it up like -Yoink- like populations that don’t resist against conquerors(spelling mistake)
More evidence:
Halo 4 demo video on IGN has + a million views, COD only a 300000 views lol + many dislikes in the COD video.
Those chartz even show the PS3 pre orders rate decreasing while the 360 pre orders barely increased much compared to the previous.
I have high hopes that Halo 4 will reclaim it’s rightful throne on 360.
This is interesting, I guess.
