Before someone says post a link I can’t. I don’t know the name of the YouTube video I have an app called halo videos and there was a video of a guy at 343 talking about h4 mp. Basically the ranking system is like how halo reach should’ve been. You get xp not credits depending on how you play. You get spartan points for leveling up. I like this system better than h3’s because you have to depend on yourself not your team. The rest of the video was the guy talking about regicide and how there’s still preset loadouts and how we should trust 343 that h4 will feel like halo. He didn’t go into heavy detail on the ranking system but it’s nice to know it’ll be skill based, I’ll look for the YouTube video but for now trust me

No, in halo reach getting credits was almost completely random, this depends on how you play
Spartan Points is probably for buying stuff.
XP is probably just a word for the points you get per match.
Like Pokemon, your pokemon levels up through EXP.
But you use PokeMoney, (whatever it’s called), to buy things.
Sounds great to me!

No matter what you say OP, if the XP is not based on winning and besides that is based on k/d so it’s doomed.
if this is the way it goes im ok with it since those that play better will get there rank faster
and maybe theres a very very top rank that only a select few can get

And that accomplished what? Were you trying to say that a ranking system, which depends on one’s skill, that separates people in to different sections based on one’s ability to play the game while still not being “boostable”, will be in H4? Yeah…no.
This ranking system is not just based on kd but how you help your team, because in CTF getting 50 kills wouldn’t matter as much as it does in team slayer

You assuming skill based ranking isn’t returning isn’t fair on anyones part in my book.

Boosters are so childish and stupid.
Everytime someone looks at my account, they assume I’m bad for my 28 Skill level.
Atleast I think it’s 28…
Anyways, 1-50 was terrible at showing how good a player was.
I’m much more experienced than my Skill level would suggest.
I just prefer to play Custom Games all the time.
Halo is great because of the amazing things you can do with Custom Games and Forge.
I can’t wait to see how 343 fixes the ranking system.
So excited for Halo 4!
