So in the recent Halo community update, they showed the two upcoming dlc leaders for Halo Wars 2: Jarome from Halo Wars 1 & 2 and The arbiter Ripa from the first Halo Wars. When they were showing off the concept arts for Jarome’s Omega Team, they’re armor sets look pretty sweat. I was wondering if the next upcoming content update would be Halo War 2 themed. It be nice if they put those spartan armor sets into Halo 5. What do you guys think? Should they add these armor sets into the game or do you think they shouldn’t?

Personally, I’d like it better if they removed some of the ugly armors (e.g. Recluse, Seeker) before adding new armors. It’s nice when they add new, good-looking armors, but Halo 5’s req pool, and install size, are bloated enough as it is.
Would be cool but like Nate said above there is so much already that it’s bloated I think the common consensus is less armours but more customisation like reach

I see more people wear recluse then I don’t. It’s popular and cool looking.

You think so? Sure the armor looks cool but the helmet is a different story, if you ask me. I know that when I suggest 343 remove the ugly armors, there will inevitably be some level of disagreement on which ones are considered ugly. But I fail to understand why anyone would want their head to look like this.

The helmet is the flood character model in Halo 4 made into a metal surface. You can tell by the shape. It’s unique for that callback alone, and the helmets that don’t feature a visor are pretty stellar looking.

Really? I didn’t know that. Incidentally, I also happen to think the flood character model in Halo 4 is rather ugly.

They can be, sometimes. But my reason for not liking the Recluse helmet isn’t necessarily because it lacks a visor. It’s more of the fact that it has those weird-looking blinders on the Spartan’s forehead.

I don’t know what you’re talking about here, but if you want to keep it around for a Halo 4 throwback and a certain group of fans of some other thing, that’s fine I guess. I still can’t bring myself to like it, though.
I’m excited about the armor designs, but I’m not sure I’d want skins like those. Especially the new Arbiter skin. Yuck.

Yup I stand with you on that. Community is gonna -Yoink- on it probably. I do want something new in Halo 5 though. Other then grinding to max rank I need something else to fixate my desire to play H5

forget adding new armor to halo 5, make this the armor of Halo 6, like holy crap! These sets looks amazing, 343 should make that their armor style. If I could wear Robert-025’s body (Blue spartan) with a Reach ODST helmet… I would keel over in joy.

Not to go against what you are saying, I do want more content in Halo 5 but if you feel like you need some little extra lines of code to make you play a game instead of just playing it because you genuinely enjoy it then maybe its time to play other games, me I personally genuinely enjoy playing CE,2,3,5 I don’t feel like I need more content to play those games because I enjoy them.
Back to the main topic, yes unfortunately this community (as much as I love and consider it my family) we are almost as bad as the Sonic The Hedgehog community, the moment we get something that is “cool” even if its only a visual option we tear into it like its running for a political office, I understand genuine problems such as sprint, ADS, maps, a ton of the 4/5 art style just to name a few but an armor set that looks like it was pulled from an anime will get destroyed because some people are under the impression Halo shouldn’t have anything that seems anime-e, I have seen argument pop up a few times and yet these same people will say they love hyabusa, personally I love having a few anime inspired items, the colossus comes to mind although I think it seems more from the Armored Core series.

I knew it was based off the flood model because when I saw it it looked to similar in the design and never confirmed it till now especially with the description of it stating something about lethal side effects.
I just want the OG ODST armor:(
I want armour that looks like Omega teams armour in Halo 6, with the full customization that Halo 4 had (I don’t reckon the reach style would work in the new games like wrists and thighs). But I swear to hell if they don’t have a FULL set of CQB armour then im gonna be pissed!
I would personally like to see the banished join halo 5
Omega teams armour is the cut Mark IV armour for the first Halo Wars and this can be seen in the first Halo Wars trailer.
