I don’t know it’s planned or not, but I just want to write down why it’s needed. In previous Halo games, if you pressed the zoom button once it stayed on Toggle, if you held it down it worked as Hold. Halo Infinite, in it’s absent, and I don’t know why. We really need an option for that!
For sniping, it’s amazing, you press it once, you can camp, search for the enemy, hold it for a second and you can quick scope! It’s an amazing feature and Halo Infinite definitely needs that!

Personally, I hated that. I would rather hold RT and snipe ADS like any other game.
You would still be able to hold RT and snipe ADS with what the OP is talking about. The only difference would be that you could also toggle between the zoom levels by just tapping RT instead of holding it down. I agree that there should be an option to enable this for accessibility reasons.
