Is there any weapon in the halo series that u think should be brought back in any shape or form. Looks different from the original in ine of the halo games but is based of the Foruners’s. For me it is definetly the carbine. I loved that gun in halo 2 and 3 it was so great to kill brutes with because you would just spam them in the face till there cap came of in 2 and in 3 till there armour broke off. It was much for fairer than the DMR is as a semi-auto weapon. The DMR is definetly op. Plus carbine looked so much cooler.
A Forerunner Carbine sounds quite cool actually.
I’m still waiting on the M99, but I doubt that will happen.
Ya i just looked up what that gun was and that would be cool to have. Who knows it could be in the game because they are using a lot of the halo cannon for halo 4.

It is a Gauss sniper rifle. Used by Sergeant Johnson in Contact Harvest.
I always thought that the pistol Chief shot in the trailer will be the new replacement for stickies.

I’d assume it be like the gauss rifle from Crysis 1 and 2.

I disagree. BR and DMR are considered the uber weapons of the halo series. Any gun with a scope is. The sniper, BR, DMR, Needle rifle, carbine, explosives, scoped pistols, shotguns, those are all the tougher weapons. Go around in Halo 2-3 with only one plasma pistol without using the overcharge, now THAT takes skill.
BR, SMG (mainly for the awesome dualwielding), and the mauler.
Oh yeah, the carbine as well. 
I’d like to see most of the weapons to return actually- at least for the UNSC arsenal, and add even more to the sandbox to add more interesting niches and weapon combinations.
H2 pistols. Everytime a post like this is made I will respond with H2 pistols. Those things were cool.
