Old maps in new game.

All maps in Halo 4 are very good and al lot of fun to play. Except for one, Ragnarok.
The remake of Valhalla does not work with the gameplay of Halo 4,

  • Loadouts, The loadouts allow you to spawn with medium/high range weapons, which creates certain areas for anyone to ‘camp’ to xmap the enemy team.
  • Visuals, The map looks great, but the blue always has an advantage, the shadow. - the only help with this is that targeting someone is kind of easy, since a name pops up even though you’re not even looking right at someone.
  • The blue side has way better cover to harras the other side from. Most of these problems come from being able to snipe people across the map with DMR,Carbine,Lightrifle (maybe BR).
  • On gametypes like Capture the Flag, the blue has yet again a great advantage, Once they get the flag half way it’s over, they can cap it whenever they want. The middle hill has a neat cliff on their side, allowing reds to go over the hill, without having that much room to go back.
  • Maps with other issues involving CTF, (could only think of one) is Complex. The Red side has plenty of cover for cappers to hide behind, there’s a gravity lift right next to the Flag spawn. Instantly taking the the carrier out of sight, allowing him/her to recharge shields/recieve backup. The Blue side is open, no easy escape (except for the occasional Mongoose, which only seems to be a good vehicle for CTF.)

Other than that i didn’t find anything about any other map that i found annoying. Vortex is a great map, which never realy gets played so often, because people tend to stick to a familiar place that once worked, but is now outdated.

OMG it is valhalla! I haven’t played that map since the Halo 3 beta!

Seriously this is the reason I don’t like playing big team. It is the only map that gets voted.

I think it’s just over played right now.
