Mine is halo reach needle rifle.
One weapon I’d like to see return is not an old one but the Spartan laser. And I also wanted to see the forklift return and I’m almost positive they did. In the inside infinite January article you can see a forklift vaguely in the background.

I’m actually curious how they are going to go about a Covenant sniper-type weapon in this game. We definitely won’t get the Beam Rifle considering how unbelievably redundant it always was.
Beam Rifle, I found the focus rifle to be a piss poor replacement.

Beam Rifle is basically a sniper but purple.
My primary reason for enjoying multiplayer games is having funny moments, so I want the weapons that I think are the most funny. So these are the weapons I personally find to be the most funny:
Hydra
Plasma Launcher (Reach)
Plasma Caster
Sticky Detonator
Grenade Launcher
Splinter Grenade ( I like the Pulse Grenade too, but probably shouldn’t have both)
Trip Mine
I guess you could argue that the plasma launcher and hydra are similar in both function and hilarity so we do need both. The plasma launcher is funnier though because of the sound and the brief moment of your opponent having a bunch of bright glow things attached to their head before exploding, but the hydra has more utility, I think. You can curve the shots a lot more, and you have much greater control over the number of explosives launched. And of course, plasma launcher has the same functionality as the plasma caster when not locked on to a target,.so there’s some redundancy there.
Of course, there’s plenty of more “normal” weapons that I want to see return, of course.
I definitely like the Focus Rifle, but I am fine with having either that or Sentinel Beam.

Beam Rifle was mostly there for campaign. Even if it’s redundant, you need stuff for A.I. enemies to use as well.
The Plasma repeater from Reach was always a bit underrated in my opinion and I’d love to see it return in Infinite.

Very true. I wonder what this new Stalker Rifle is gonna be like?
Halo CE Plasma Rifle please. Even if the stun effect doesn’t come with it, I just really loved the feel of it and the accuracy, opposite to UNSC full auto rifles. It might conflict in the sandbox with the Pulse Carbine but I don’t know… I think the Pulse Carbine just looks terrible aesthetically, its going off of the Storm Rifle design which also looks awful in my opinion.
