Old GT stats, can I get them back?

Ok so I have noticed that my H3 and H2 stats are gone, probably from when I changed my GT a few years back, is there anyway I can get these stats back on this site? I remember all my previous GT’s if it helps. Or are they gone forever since 343 doesn’t collect stats for these games anymore :frowning:

Quick question- have you used the same Microsoft account and just changed your gamertag? Or have you used multiple Microsoft accounts? It sounds like you may be using the same Microsoft account, so I’ll proceed assuming that’s the case.

Your Halo 2 stats should be preserved on bungie’s website. For example, before I was CoverMyMeds I was “mistershag” in the H2/H3 days (cringey I know) so my stats for H2/H3 can be found here: https://halo.bungie.net/stats/halo3/default.aspx?player=mistershag

You can search for your previous tag in the top right of the screen at this address: https://halo.bungie.net/Projects/Halo2/default.aspx

As far as Waypoint goes, I believe there is no way to import your H2 history as the servers have been turned off. As for H3 you shouldddd be able to import your H3 stuff by playing one match in H3 on the account. So if you still have your x360 or a friend has one, you can log in and play one match of H3 and then your H3 stats shouldddd sync with Waypoint. I say “shouldddd” because this recommendation is pulled from my memory- I remember this working in the past. I’m not sure if it still works but it’s worth a try. If you don’t have access to a X360 you can still find your stats on bungie at least.

Hope this information finds you well.

Happy Haloing!

Meds is correct with the above info, though I believe to sync your Halo 3 stats you need to be connected to Xbox Live. Game mode shouldn’t matter, so campaign and custom games should also work. Halo 2, as mentioned, won’t sync up any more as it ran on the original Xbox Live severs which were shut down a few years ago.

This goes on the assumptions that your kept the same account / email address and simply changed your gamertag. If you made a brand new account then you won’t be able to sync things up as accounts can’t be merged together.

Thanks, yea I used the same MS account.
I did sell my XB360 unfortunately but I am sure I can get a friends, appreciate ya!

I was just searching for this exact post! Thank goodness! This should work for Halo 3 and Halo Reach??

If you’ve changed your gamertag; then yes. Your stats should sync if you play that game on-line.

Well dang. This didn’t work for me. I just played a game of Lone Wolves on Halo 3, and did horrible. The controls are soooooo slow. Laggy game and just awful.

Stats didn’t show.

Played with three other players. Going to check their stats to see if this game shows up.

Not calling players out, just need to mark players I played with: Mellon27, You just, SAM4303.

I’m seeing your H3 stats. https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo-3/xbox-360/service-records/players/mrsir%201981. Highest skill rank 50, first active 8/14/2010, etc.

Well what the what?! I’m clicking my service record and it shows the ONI sign. And that I haven’t played. Logged out and back in too.

Ok cool. Now it’s showing up. Thank you Meds! I guess it just needed your link.
