It’s been 11 years since we fought the sentinels on the main halo titles. Should the Sentinels return as an enemy to the play? Or would you guys like to continue to see them as a passive entity like in halo 4 and 5?
If we get Flood I’m sure we’ll get sentinels too, I like fighting them.
Since we’ll be on a Halo Ring I think its almost certain that we’ll see the sentinels return. I hope we can fight with them or against them. I don’t really mind either way as long as they are in the game. You can kind of see them in the Halo Infinite trailer too!
I wouldn’t mind fighting them again.
A retriever sentinel fight could be an interesting boss fight (although they are the size of ships soooo maybe a smaller one than that). Sentinels were fun and the sentinel beam was a cool weapon to use in the games
I always thought the sentinels were pretty boring to fight. I kind of forgot about them tbh they just don’t stick out to me at all.

Individually or in small groups yeah they were super easy to fight, and even just avoid altogether. But when you get a few of them added in while fighting another faction or the Flood (Sacred Icon from Halo 2 comes to mind), they add a challenge to the game. Plus, you had to be careful not to be too close when they went down or you’re shields would deplete from the blast.
I thought sentinels were cool because they helped you fight the Flood while also attacking you. Weren’t there sentinels in the Infinite announcement trailer? That could mean that we encounter them in game.
Sentinels are meh for me. I have no opinion. If they come back, great. If they don’t, also great? Whatever 343 decides to do with Infinite, I just hope the enemies are more interesting than what we got in Halo 5.
