Old campaign Spartan Ops missions?

I was thinking of a type of DLC 343i could do with the community. This DLC would be for spartan ops and would allow you to play through your favorite parts of the Halo campaigns. These would not be full missions from the campaign, just certain parts.

So to do this I was thinking 343i would need to put up a survey listing missions that are possible to recreate with the Halo 4 experience in mind. Let’s take for example the Warthog Run from Halo 3. It would be remade, it would run exactly the same in terms of when things fall, the amount of flood, sentinels, and crap. But at the same time it would bee completely different because you can use your loadouts, Halo 4 warthog, and the graphical update.

I would expect a total of 5 missions picked for DLC. For an example we’ll say Halo 3 Warthog Run, Halo 2 scarab, Halo 3 Hornet on the Covenant, Halo 1 escaping the Flood on Guilty Spark, and Halo: Reach defending Halseys lab.

Now after 343i put in a little time and effort to making these, it’s available on the market place, however Microsoft does not come free and I would expect around 200-400 points for it.

Thoughts?

P.S. I know it’s not canonical to play as your spartan in these missions, but it’s for the fans, not canon.

well since the first 50 missions which are free are called spartan ops season one, id assume they will release another season as well. I doubt it will be missions from previous games though, because its supposed to follow the events after halo 4 (unless they were like flashback missions)

It would be pretty awesome, but at the same time pretty hard for the developers to basically create a new entity just for a DLC (flood and the scarab (maybe)).

i wont lie, i didnt read the whole thing, but yeah i did now, and still, as cool as itll be, i doubt theyll do BECAUSE IT WONT BE CANON

So wait you want the exact same mission from the past campaigns but instead of master chief doing it. Its our little Spartan team? (im confused)

I think that will be highly unlikely.

I dont see how it could be incorporated in the S OPs feel.

Eveb flashbacks would be far fetched.

Well it could be played as master chief and arbiter and all that -Yoink-, but I think it would make it easier to just play as our normal characters.

I see what you mean op but I feel that just wouldn’t work. It would be better if we had some sort of prequel Season or something alone the lines that doesn’t go back too far. Say like just after/Before Chief got back to earth in Halo 3. Would be a nice place to start The Spartan team at this point would of been (ODST’S/Marines right?)It could easily pick off at this point.

Well that’s what I think could be done just to build a bit of character for our Spartans before they actually became one.
