I’m not finding games in some playlists for a game that came out last Fall. What is going on? I can’t find games at times for Free For All and Warzone Assault. That’s with my search setting on Balanced. I have really good internet, not an issue. I live on the pacific, if the search is regional, there should be plenty of people here. I find it funny that 343i had Bravo announce that this game was at its peak in population yet, I don’t need a population counter to know this game is dying…UNABLE TO MATCH not enough players in this playlist.
I’m starting to have issues in Warzone assault aswell. I live in the east coast of NA.
Population is failing.
I’m assuming the end of planned DLC and no future announcements from 343 had made the game feel kind of “over” for a lot of people.
I didn’t have that problem at all last night found plenty of games. Hard reset you xbox and reboot you router and modem.
DLC stopped so people stopped playing
There will be a boost I’m sure once the silence ends and we have an update date
I thought it was just me up until now. I can’t play WA anymore. I’ve waited in the lobby for like 5 minutes or more waiting for matches when it used to be a few seconds.

That hurt.
Try hard resets… I used focused searches and always find games in FFA… I don’t play warzone assault so can’t speak for that.
Doesn’t matter if I search expanded or balanced or focused I cannot find a match in FFA. I think this is my own fault for never placing in it but there has got to be other people that haven’t placed either… or match me with diamonds or onyx. I don’t care just match me.

I used to play Warzone Assault a lot, but have switched to playing Firefight these last few weeks. Maybe a lot of people have switched to FF since it’s a fun novelty. I bet WA will slowly creep back up.

I’m an Onyx in FFA and searching as we speak. I tried expanded, balanced, and focused. I still haven’t found a match and it’s been 20 mins…

When I say I have never placed in FFA I mean never. Since the game launched I have never ranked in FFA. So if I cannot find a match vs lower skilled players and you also cannot find a match vs higher skilled players then I think the population is almost gone in FFA.
It maybe server issues. I play a lot of FFA and I am also ranked oynx and usually never have trouble finding a game.

Whilst I agree that Halo 5 is dropping down the most played, I do not believe that a failing population is to blame. Titanfall had 6000 ish players when I logged on yesterday, and I was in a match in about 40 seconds, and that was on the Euro West server with a very nice 30ms ping. Titanfall is not as high up as Halo 5, so, what is it ? I say better servers with regional selection, maybe 343 should give us that selection.
