Okay, so what did Limited Edition get...?

Oh this crap again…

Halo 4 Standard copy: $59.99
War Games Map Pass: $34.99
6 other Specializations for playing War Games before November 20th: 10mins of your time to play one game.
Total: $94.98

Halo 4 Limited Edition copy: $99.99
Total: $99.99

You spent only $5.01 more than SE+WGMP for:
Recruit Avatar Armor,
Cryotube Avatar Prop,
Recruit in-game Emblem,
Recruit Prime Armor Skin,
Prime AR skin,
Early access to the other 6 Specializations,
90mins of Forward Unto Dawn bonus footage.

So tell yourself, was spending $5.01 more worth it?
If not, next time don’t blindly purchase things just because it’s the “Limited Edition”.

343 are a cancer of Halo…

Didnt read other pages but you got a lil toy

Like a happy meal ;D

NOW, that they fixed it!
First, it was plain out free, no trial, just free. They screwed with it and made it into a trial session AFTER THE FACT.

We still got our free map pack, those who got it for free ended up having it taken away from them Cause Mico$oft derped when releasing it. Though I expect more failure before the year’s end.

Did you even READ this thread?
It is not LE vs Map Pass, it is LE AND Map Pass vs people who didn’t pay a dime.

Standard Edition was $60 LE was $100 according to you…
LE owners (and Map Pass owners) PAID for the maps, and when 343/Microsoft gave it out for FREE it was a BIG issue.
Now that they “fixed” their f-up things are better.
But the spec thing? A whole week of “early access”…really? Most LE owners didn’t even get to SR 25 in the first week…let alone SR50. Heck, I know 2LE owners that STILL aren’t SR50 (but they rarely play anyway…their own fault)

Aren’t the free crimson users getting their maps locked on the 18th? Your code is still going to have a use once that date passes. Also, you were never going to get exclusive specializations, and no one ever hinted that you were going to. Bloody read what you’re buying.

No one has said anything about exclusive specs. We were promised early access to them. Problem is 1 week is not long enough to get to them for 90% of the player base, so the “early access” became bogus.

And the map pack being a trial period was added AFTER they made it free to all.
If they hadn’t made it into a trial version, then everyone would still be able to use it for free, again, the trial use was made AFTER THR FACT. It was not planned, nor was it made before release of the pack.
