Okay, now Security's being a pain in the rear

343I needs to fix the errors with the Security Armor Permutation.

Over the last week, I managed to get the GS needed to unlock the shoulders, and when I finally hit 1000gs, the shoulders locked themselves, only unlocking once I was finally able to connect to XBL again. Also, when I hit 1000gs, I was expecting to see the Security helmet finally unlocked, but it hasn’t happened. I’m now currently at 1025gs for Halo 3, and still no Security helmet.

When there was an issue with the Elite’s Commando shoulders not unlocking with the Steppin’ Razor achievement, Bungie fixed it by releasing an update that unlocked the shoulders even without the achievement.

Why was Security not fixed in the same manner? Also, I’ve heard of issues of the Katana also locking itself again.

Actually, Bungie should have fixed the Security issue a long time ago as soon as it was known.

You need to unlock all the original achievements for it to stay unlocked properly, it has been a problem since Bungie added the new achievements with TU2.

The issue with the Elite Commando shoulders wasn’t fixable, but the Security ones are.

Well, I hit the 750 with just the originals, and yet the shoulders locked themselves upon me obtaining the first three Meta-Game achievements (Demon, Cavalier, and Askar).

Alright. Right now I’m at 825 in the original achievements with 35 of 49 achievements unlocked. I’ll post again once I’ve done all 49 originals with the results.
