Sorry to say that but… Halo Reach has the worst Halo community. It’s really sad. They betray me and t-bagg me… Some random players send me some negative messages… They are shooting at me just because i got the sniper before them… No it’s too much… I have a lot more example to say, but you know what i’m saying…
That’s hardly unique to Halo or Reach.
People, as a whole, suck.
What’s the point of this post?
Yeah it sucks but you can either complain, stop playing or ignore it cause you ain’t gonna change it.
I’m thinking to make people angry enough that you get it all the time, it must be something on your part lol.
Yes getting matched with randoms flat out sucks.
They either:
Are good teammates who help the team win
Are in party chat and fail to contribute to communication/teamwork
Troll for the lulz
Are flat out bad, even if they try to communicate/work as a team they still weigh you down (At least they try so I give them props and try to stop others from talking down to them)
Go AFK and give up tons of free kills
etc
So yeah chances of getting a good random are pretty slim. Thankfully that is what gaming communities/clans are there for. You can join my group if you like, but know that I don’t allow cheap tactics like revenant sniping or forcing the vote to objective purely to spawn kill in an effort to artificially boost your KD.
Of course even if you don’t like my group there are plenty of solid ones out there. There is no reason to leave the game behind solely because of a problem you can easily avoid by joining a community/clan.

Agreed
Yeah, certain people suck.
Welcome to online gaming, I’m afraid. It’s a lot better when you play with friends, but it doesn’t make the problem go away…
When you stop having fun you should stop and play a different game. It always works for me. Take a vacation from halo for a week or more and it’ll be fun again. Trust me.
You’ll find bad behavior like that in all online games. It does seem to be ever so slightly worse in Reach than in any other online game I’ve played, though.
Chalk it up to online anonymity, and research the “online disinhibition effect” if you’ve an interest in psychology.
you guys forgot cod the moment u start playin u get 8 year olds screaming like a bunch of illiterate banshees, thats very bad

Nice reference, and you’re right.
Generally play with people you know, and it makes it less bothersome.
get rid of FF. Ive said it a thousand times, to many people abuse it. As for the hate mail, I kind of like it. It’s funny. If it gets to be too much you can always block communications with that person.
Yeah even on game types such as action sack where you are supposed to have a bit of fun you always get a guy who refuses to play objectively and sits at the sniper spawn with the only one inention… going for kills.

Yeah Halo’s community is always really cool the first month a new game comes out. Then it slowly gets worse. I think it’s also due to the fact that Halo is being dumbed down so much in order to compete with CoD’s sales, you get low intelligence opponents/team mates that pull this stuff.
