Okay am I bugging? Like for some odd reason aiming feels a lot better than usual

Speaking of smurfing I saw a silver 2 go like 37-5 against mostly high silver low gold players. Seemed a little fishy to me unless they were having the game of their life.

Unfortunately, I doubt it’ll last. I’ve had many days like this, sometimes even weeks, but it always goes away.

Played against Silver 2 dragging his Diamond 1 friend into the lobbies………ruined us

See this is how I’ve felt since launch. The aim has always felt bad and super inconsistent with my reticle flying all over the place and off my targets with the slightest tap. It’s felt ok for a while… but I have had some better games lately since the update.

I’m currently out of town visiting family for Thanksgiving. I’ll try to play a game tomorrow after I get back home.

I’m having the opposite problem, actually. I’ve been part of a group of people who are complaining that when you just barely move the reticle, the HUD engages its Warp drive and acts as if it’s moving with the highest sensitivity setting. This affected people on every single platform. Sometimes you could restart your game and/or reboot your controller and the problem would be fixed. I found a simple solution where I would just use a different controller and it would usually solve the problem.

Until this update. I have a 3rd-party XBox controller that I can plug into my PC and play games that way, as well as a 1st-party XBox One controller and a Switch Pro controller. Since the update, the only one that doesn’t suffer this problem is the 1st-party XBox controller. The other two–no matter how many times I restart them or my game or the computer, it doesn’t solve the problem. Devs have no idea what’s causing it, I’ve been back-and-forth with them since launch, and it still affects a small population of people. I have no idea why and couldn’t even begin to fathom what could be causing it. But to bring it back to this conversation, I haven’t seen any improvement–it’s only gotten worse on my end.

So… I played a few games and it was just as bad as ever.

I know that every now and then I’ll get a game or two where it seems like everything is working the way it should, aim feels good, hit registration works, etc. But then it goes right back to feeling like a garbled mess.

My guess is that the net code is just bonkers.

I don’t think it will really matter if they make adjustments to the aim (or pretty much anything that people think needs fixed) if they don’t fix the net code first.

Broken game is still broken.

Yeah. It’s starting to feel crappy again.

I want it to be good. When it feels good, it feels really good. It plays like the Halo that I want to play.

But those moments are so rare…

So I play a few games, see that it’s still bad, and go back to MCC.

Oh and speaking of MCC, the CE deadzones are broken.

I set mines to 0 and there was no drift at all. My controller has drift on other games so I don’t understand why all of a sudden it’s broken now.

The other games work fine and accurately report the correct amount of drift my controller has so at least I can play the other games.

I’m waiting on them to fix it because CE is my jam.

I’ve not been able to play since I got back. Been busy, work all day and then I got sick. I’m just now getting over it and hopefully I’ll get to play some tomorrow.

Just played and it felt the same as it usually does. So I’m betting you just got some games with good ping and low to no desync.
