They are people who are huge fans of the pistol. Also, they are people who realize that most maps have a DMR that they can just run and grab.
At least you openly admit that you NEED a DMR start. I would never admit that I’m so bad at halo that I NEED to spawn with a specific weapon.

I need it? No but I prefer it, I never would leave a game because of AR starts, but its stupid.
most maps have also a cqc weapon so what?
And how is a game unbalanced if we start with dmr but it is balanced if we start with ARs ?

It’s not unbalanced as such but I can’t see why starting weapons should be good. You start with the worst and work your way to where the good guns spawn.

That is an incredibly bad idea. Why? Because you’re forced to spawn with a weapon that is incapable of being use to defend yourself.
The moment someone gets their hands on a utility weapon, they are going to have an extremely large advantage over freshly spawned players.

I’ll say that when I beat the crap out of you with my magnum…I don’t like dmr starts because I really like the magnum. And just dmring all across the map = no skill.

AR starts give me a distinct advantage, because from the beginning of Halo, the pistol became my weapon of choice. The ROF seems to work out well for me and for some odd reason, most dont use them, so are a little out of their element when forced to use them.
I vote AR starts on first preference because i like playing a game with more than one weapon. And the pistol is -Yoink!-.

Sometimes the DMR starts map is terrible.
Slayer DMR on Sword Base or Team Slayer on Battle Canyon

Are you serious? He’s nowhere near bad. He’s above average. I checked your halo tracker and your average yourself. And even if he is “bad” as you say, he’s still able to voice his opinion just like anyone else.

Hitting 4 headshots in a row at long range and quick succession, before the person is able to seek cover is not skill?
What exactly is skill then?
Yes. Sometimes I simply get tired of playing DMR starts or on certian maps.
