Power ups have been in all the Halo games and since H3 they’ve been becoming more diverse. So my question is how should they change? Should they be less diverse? Other?

Jump Pack: Jumping height is increased slightly.

You must be thinking of equipment and armor abilities.
Power ups are the overshield and invisibility pickups. And they’ve been around since Halo 1.

and by this i mean power ups, and pickups, not just one or the other, although i think they should add the active camo back in like it was in CE

You forget Camo and Over Shield. AKA Blue and Read sphere.
AA as map pick ups.
Problem?
I found an Invasion map someone made where spartans spawn in an ODST drop ship. They also made forge drop pods you go into an send down, in the pods there were power-ups that let you survive the initial fall with no damage and have temporary invulnerability when you hit the ground so that people can’t just snipe you immediately after you come down, really well made and thought out actually. I want to see more power-ups that can do more crazy stuff like that.
.Armor abilities
- Cloak like the Halo 2 Arbiter cloak
- Armor lock that can’t be activated when shields are down
- Can have maximum of two holograms
- You’re a Spartan, sprint should be faster
- Like in Warhammer 40k Space Marine, you should be able to come crashing down on your enemies with the jet-pack by choosing your landing zone
- You should be able to evade into cover and out the way of vehicles easier using a sort of auto-aim system

Equipment is more balanced and requires more thinking instead of just spamming it over and over again like you can with AA’s.
BUT I see no problem with having a different playlist for that.
Cloak Oversheild as power ups.
Sprint as defult.
bubble for messing around with but not in MM.
No AA’s. No equipment.
First of all you should never be able to spawn with power ups(armor abilitys). They should always be pick ups with maybe the ability to start with them in special games and customs.
Things I would like to see would be…
Camo with a 30 second timer that makes you as invis as in Halo 3 with no radar effect.
OvershieldSame strength as Halo 2 and none of that invincibilty right after pick up. The only time it would drain is when shot but you’re shown on the radar while OS’d.
Plasma ShieldLike the Jackle shields and can only use dual wieldable weapon. If you don’t have a dual wieldable weapon when you go to pick it up you automatically recieve a plasma pistol. The shield can only pop once and is deactivated to 5 seconds.
Jump Pack Two bursts the give you the same boost as a grav lift.
Vision Radar gets an extra 25 meters added for 30 seconds.
Sprint should not be included in the game because it forces the regular movement speed to be slow. Just make the movement speed acceptable and sprint is no longer needed.
