I don’t really think it would require most of the object budget to build Forge World- maybe half of it at most. The scaling feature not only allows you to adjust the size but independently change the length, width, and height. That will eliminate a lot of gap-filling that was previously used to compensate for objects being too small. Also, they will probably add another canvas like Tidal down the road. If we’re lucky we may even get water volumes.

Narrows was Halo 3. It was a very good map for CTF and Slayers.
I just want a Pelican. 2 decades and I still haven’t gotten to get my hands on a D77 outside of glitches or Easter eggs. Forge from what we’ve seen so far is phenomenal, but I’m still clinging to my childhood dream. I want to raise and lower the cargo ramp, load vehicles in the back, carry folks around…

The only reason they wouldn’t would be based on balancing, I imagine a Pelican would be insane for most maps. That being said I don’t think its unreasonable or impossible for them to pull off. It would have be very map specific, and the fine tuning would be very precise.
Its really powerful because it would have tons of offensive capabilities combined with being able to hold cargo, so its the same problem with a Scarab, its certainly a fun idea but how to put it into practice is the real question.
Maybe once the BR mode is out they can experiment with massive BTB or something idk.

yeah but they wouldn’t put a Pelican into the game just for customs/Forge, they did eventually do something like that with MCC but keep in mind the assets and how it functioned and everything were already there (its sorta there with Infinite via the glitch) so their priority is almost always just regular online MP, then everything else gets crumbs every once in a while.
Now one could argue that because its 12v12 and you have equipment and other ways to counter a Pelican or a Scarab that they would then be less OP, and that’s true, but understand that there are other considerations like how many maps would it make sense on? Is it user friendly? Etc.
Again, we’re gonna get a BR mode season 3 or season 4, we’re talking a massive map, massive player counts, it is likely that huge vehicles and crazy weapons become more viable in the future, but as the game is presently constructed it wouldn’t make much sense.
I don’t think forge will be enough. But I DO THINK it’s going to get us where we need to be to GET enough.
I’ve seen the videos. There’s some really cool stuff. Some really FUN stuff. Andy’s toy room is goofy as heck. Destructible terrains are a wonderful consideration for infection mode. Looks like it’d be super easy to set up a minotaur in the labrynth.

The one I made in H5 is pretty legit though. It has a working grill & bathroom sink. I also built a highway with an off ramp, a suspended billboard with sniper, a police station, a school, and even a secret ice cave!
