You can keep AR for those who want to use it but the pistol is pretty useless on those maps. The game flows SOOOOO much better when I have a BR in my hands. Needs to happen 343

Agreed. AR starts do not work well for BTB, in my opinion.

BTB Does NOT need BR starts, there are BR’s and Commandos everywhere, not to mention the other gun spawns.

Oh no. The Battle rifle is so much more powerful than it was in previous Halo games. It would render every other weapon pointless.
Not in the slightest. Just because you have a BR doesnt mean you dont need anything else. It just means you dont have to wait minutes off spawn waiting for one.

BR starts is such a meme. You only want BR starts because it’s such a versatile all rounder and thus you’d never swap it out. BR starts have historically devolved the overall sandbox into BR vs BR which, honestly, is very boring.

Hilariously, Bungie had SMG starts in Halo 2 for quite a while on large maps (ie Coagulation), and it was the most broken gaming experience of all time, lmao.

I tend to agree in BR starts. It tends to be frustrating to be caught out of effective combat range off spawn. I think it would change as everyone (I) better learn the maps and weapon spawns. BR would make everyone effective of spawn though. Maybe they would implement that for BTB Ranked.

I really don’t need anything else.
It’s a three hit kill and it’s very easy to aim. It’s so much better than the Halo 5 BR. Having an assault rifle spawn incentivises looking for power weapons to upgrade. It also encourages teams to close the distance and have hectic close range fire fights. BR encourages players to stand off and it undercuts every other weapon class.
Most of the weapons aren’t in the same league as the Battle Rifle. They’re very situational especially once everyone is firing at longer ranges in a BR start game. Sure, a rocket launcher is nice, but I can do without if I have a BR.

I disagree, I think they just need more BRs on maps.
It’s a waste if time to go looking for them. They are not always there and not always in the same spot. I shouldn’t have to waste my time looking for them. It’s a bad experience.

The fact you’re looking for just the BR and complaining that you can’t find one only confirms how you’d never use any other weapon in the game if it was a BR start.

Sniper and rockets. Why would I use less effective weapons? Let’s just spam everywhere and hope to get a kill when I can get 2-4 with a single mag at any distance?
