Ok 343 Thank You But Now Don't Mess It Up

Ok I don’t really like 343 but I appreciate them listening to the community. I know a lot of people (Including me) wanted a UNSC air vehicle in this game. After about 8 months of waiting we finally are going to get one. Also people have been asking for creative bosses that are fun to fight. Again you will deliver this in the next update, 8 months from release. No, I’m forgiving you of the crap you have gotten away with in the past, I’m just thanking you for when you do stuff right. So your probably thinking “Wait. This is the guy who keeps ranting on 343. Of course he wants to join us now after he’s been proven wrong about 343 being a bad dev” Maybe your right. I’m being to nice. The point of this thread is to get 343 on track. So 343 good job with this update. New maps, new game modes, new bosses, finally a new UNSC air vehicle, among other things. But don’t screw it up. This has happened in the past, were you do a couple good things, and then ruin it all with tons of dumb stuff soon or right after. Don’t let the Wasp be legendary rarity unless every gets the certification for it in the free update pack. Don’t let Halo Wars 2 have a bad launch like what happened with Halo 4 and MCC. Don’t have Req packs on the same level that they were in this game. Bring back splitscreen for Halo 6. Maybe even get rid of sprint and ADS. If you do those things and more, people will return to the franchise. If you don’t, and make Halo 6 worse then all the halo games before it, Halo will be forgotten, and the series WILL die. Your choice 343.

Apparently the classic beam rifle is going to be added also but why? Nobody asked for it but thanks I guess. Also I’m not mad or anything I jut don’t see the point of it.

Dang this thread is going to buried under all the hate threads… well at least I can say… FIRST!!!

The series won’t die any faster than it currently is, which is a normal pace. Every title loses more players(%) than the last but this has been happening since Halo 2. They could let you ride a Bedazzled Unicorn that shoots ice cream from its horn and see no change in Halo’s numbers.

The wasp is likely going to be rare. That blurred out req that looks like a white plasma repeater at first glance, try looking at it in a different way.

I wholeheartedly agree with you OP. I think a huge chunk of Halo’s fanbase has been lost due to no splitscreen in H5. Also, everything else you said made a lot of sense to me.

Good point I guess

It has been confirmed to be rare so it looks like this update might be the best one yet.

At least someone agrees.

I’m really just extremely curious why they thought no split screen was a good thing.

This has been happening since Halo 2? Is that why Halo 3 had significantly more sales and better player retention than Halo 2? Sure, let’s keep pretending that this is just a natural trend (like global climate change!) and ignore the obvious impact factors like butchering the series formula and launching a game with no content has on population and sales.

Me to. It’s good for Microsoft because people will buy another Xbox and Halo 5 just to play with one other person. Still its not good for the consumers.

Noice comeback.
