Oh Impact...

We’ve all seen the video for Impact

So, here’s a picture of Facing Worlds from the UT series.

Yeah, guess what I’m going to be making in Forge next?

> Yeah, guess what I’m going to be making in Forge next?

Impact…?

oh please no, the monta to alaska maps in reach were bad enough…

sigh Yeah. I’m gonna make Impact. That’s it right there…

WTH are those?

It was only a matter of time before this idea surfaced. Good idea if you ask me!

Montana and Alaska are the two mountains on the right side of Hemmhorage from the Blues’ perspective.

Eh, still don’t get how that applies to Facing Worlds. I think it would actually work really well in Halo.

LOKOUT IN SPACE, FTW.

Lockout, psh. Guardian was better.

In YOUR opinion. Not mine.

There’s a lot of space maps from Quake, Cube 2, Warsow etc that would be awesome as well. Halo’s gameplay was originally based on Arena shooters like Unreal Tournament, Quake, etc and I think that maps from those kinds of games work naturally with Halo 1.

Now Halo 4 is obviously very distant from Halo 1 but it’s clearly still the same genre of shooter, so I think it’s safe to assume that maps from Unreal Tournament and friends are going to “feel right” in Halo 4.

Exactly. I also wanted to do Deck 16 or 17 but that would take a WHILE. But then, Facing Worlds might too. Are you any good at Forge?

I’m gonna make bits of classic Spyro levels.

That’d be awesome, OP.

Now to find a way to work in that stupid little base they slapped in the middle of one of the asteroids.
