…that Halo 2’s online multiplayer was still up and running. Halo 2’s my favorite Halo and it twas a sad day when multiplayer ended.
The worst thing for me is when I played it during it’s last week I realised I found the game way more fun than the current FPS games out at the time (Halo 3, MW2, BF: BC2)
Even when I go on XBC I find it much more fun than current games. I don’t care about graphics just gameplay and Halo 2’s core gameplay was and still is untouchable.

You’re on point there. Halo 2 is by far my favorite fps of all-time, and if I can get XBC to work (tried multiple times) I would play that all day. The way Halo 4’s starting to look I may have to go back to 2 for the rest of my life.
I play both 3 and Reach regularly but neither can compare to the multiplayer experience that was 2. I really hope that 343 goes back to Halo’s roots with 4 but I’m not holding my breath.

If you truly believe this is still possible, you have not been paying attention my friend. You can keep hoping, but the current media will just keep denying it.
It was the legendary Halo with the best multiplayer experience ever made for halo. It will always be my favorite halo and I too wish someday it is revived.
