I’ve posted alot of negative as some of you have and I take time to think on it and think on it more. Like any game i’ve played there will always be something in a new game I won’t like and wished was different or same as the last but I still find a way to enjoy it.
Oh Halo 4… I love your campaign and spartan ops is fun when playing with friends. Oh Halo 4… I wish you weren’t losing popularity.
Oh Halo 4… … Why has it taken you 11 months to fix your issues.
When I first got Halo 4 I really enjoyed it and loved the multiplayer.
Yeah I will say I snickered at the game having Killcams and Quickspawn and wanted that part to go away. Quickspawn should be in its own playlist for people lvls 1-20 and killcams need to just go away.
I will say I like the idea of loadouts because it has a good potential.
Honestly yes I don’t like DMR because I don’t like being shot from a mile away with aim assist. But like I said its cool to have loadouts because I was getting sick of starting with an Ar and pistol. DMR should have less ammo in it to where you have to scavenge guns to survive giving it a slight challenge with little to no aim assist. Pistols should’ve had a little more variety rather than boltshot and plasma, but most people have to be a pro at boltshot to use it right so to me I hardly come across a game where I get boltshotted, but will agree that constant emp’s get annoying. I think if you start with some of these “annoying” weapons you should start with less ammo to please the crowd.
Plasma grenades should be a pickup and so should armor abilities. Ordinance drops should only be rewarded for Killstreak medals not something that builds up and stays; once you die you lose that ordinance. There also shouldn’t be weapon markers.
Vehicles armor is fine to me, I really don’t want an overpowered warthog to take over the game because a “hypothetical” future change makes it to where I have to lob 4 grenades at it. I like that the sniper rifle can destroy vehicles because the Halo sniper is pretty much the same strength as an anti aircraft gun or atleast described especially considering the scifi halo armor with its weight and how strong spartans are it would explain why the snipers would be so powerful.
Frags need a stronger blast radius and flip vehicles OR let you carry 3 and 4 with perk. Plasmas like I said should be a pickup or only start with one to make people think twice on throwing them. I’d like to see pulse grenades with 2 because they really help with crowded spaces and campers.

Perks are cool and I’d like to see more zazz put in them because some I can’t tell I’m even using.
Being lobbed into a game already going is good and bad especially when on a badly losing team, so that needs to be an option the player can decide to turn off and on.
DLC that you buy needs to show up in more playlists making you feel like you get your money’s worth.
I like sprinting in the game, I think its cool… I played halo 3 a couple weeks back and really missed getting faster from one place to another
But here’s the thing… Lag really is the cancer that has taken too long to be worked out. I can honestly still love this game because even though it has flaws and room for improvement I still have alot of fun because I love the scifi shooter that is halo. Its just I get sick and tired of 8 out of 10 matches with excessive lag and I know some of it is cheaters using lag switch kits while the rest is on the company to fix including the cheaters.
Most of my real life friends got tired of halo and moved on to generic military FPS’s, so halo loses its appeal when I have no real friends to play with. Perhaps I should send out friend requests to people who want to play it as much as I do.
To me the lag is what has bred a cancer of negativity for me that i want to get rid of. Like I said everything that has changed in this game from the others doesn’t bother me as much (well just get rid of killcams and quickspawn), its just the overbearing lag that has continued to last a very long time that has sent my Halo opinion in a downward spiral and made me start spotting flaws.
With any new game/movie/album there will always be haters who dislike change but then people who don’t like things to stay the same.
I just need more Halo friends around my age (i’m over 18 and under 30) who like to play the game seriously and occasionally t-bag and troll, and the lag needs to be minimized… then my opinion will be better.
I really don’t want to hate the game or give up on it because Halo is really the only shooter I love to play… that is until the next best sci fi shooter comes out.
