I’m not sure about you guys, but that is a VERY lame way to “increase the amount of players getting into matches.” If I’m playing H2/3 I want 4v4 because, ya know, that’s how they were.
It was supposed to launch 5v5 but it’s glitching or something and being 4v4. They’re not increasing it; they’re fixing it.

Can you show where you got that info? Honestly, when they TYPE the game types to say 4v4 I would think that it’s more than likely supposed to be 4v4
It’s ridiculous and they’re increasing it so more likely to get 5v5s. Absolute BS on the small maps. Sort your shet out 343.

All playlists excluding btb (8v8, currently set to a max of 12 player lobbies) were originally meant to be 4v4. The playlist search has, since very early on after official release, been expecting up to 10 players in a lobby.
This is nothing new.
Seriously hope it goes back to 4v4 once other MM issues are fixed.

to be totally honest I don’t even know how this is a fix seeing as it’s already bugged out into thinking it’s 5v5 on 4v4 playlists, pretty sure at this point they just want to use it as an excuse x_X

It is a fix to the biggest issue which is people unable to find a game. If you can have a working matchmaking system than people can play while you iron out the smaller details like fixing the games so it is 4v4. The main priority right now is the matchmaking.
