XxPostCarnagexX here. Working on the game but also going to play it like no other when it comes out. Who else is coming back?
I heard DC Sparta, Bus, Limitz, and a BUNCH of the OGs are coming back. Myold 2s partner DC RoflCopter is coming back I believe (or so he claims).

I’m not quite sure who you consider OGs, but I do know that Spro Mitch will be playing. Most likely he won’t be playing competitively, but he’ll be making vids again. Miz isHere is gonna be playing, as I’ve seen him on these forums on multiple occasions. MarcoStyleNL streamed the Beta back when it came out, but I don’t know if he’ll be playing. Besides that, idk. Most other players probably left Halo Wars behind long ago, or changed the name they go by, having lost their original name after making like thirty 2nd accounts.

Me just looking at this post confused like “whats a halo og?” Thanks for clarifying.
I used to be called I P o o P v2 , was top on gamebattles under the name “Team Cutter” I was the dude who figured out how to beat the POR rush that everyone was doing back in the day, my strat was eventually countered by the anders tank build that Echoic made , whats funny is after being top at halo wars , he played starcraft for like 2 months, made a famous strategy (300k views on Team Liquid forums) and Microsoft hired him, and put him on their corporate employee team, it was the last I saw of him…

I already pre order the ultimate edition right after the beta. Placed diamond 5 with my teammates being completely new to RTS. Being a starcraft player for about 18yrs , I love that they introduced the need to gather 2 resources. I’m a huge halo fan. Very excited for this game. Anxious for halo wars DE to keep me busy until the beta comes out and then finally the game itself. Anyone want to share ideas or want to learn RTS , add me to XBL.

Pre-ordered ultimate edition when I saw the news on the definitive edition very excited.
While I consider myself nothing more than a random who played Brute too much I would love the legit OGs to come back, boosters, booters and cryo canny glitchers please stay away thanks 
I expect the definitive edition to just be a upscale all DLC worries me whilst the 2s DLC map is super fun the 1s DLC maps are the most unbalanced maps going, especially barrens, unless exploits like the Y exploit mostly used for cannister shell and the cryo bomb used with that are patched then UNSC will be super dominant in 1s, barrens is just awful and I really like playing brute and prophet in 1s, I may consider switching to Arby as he is strong on that map but he is then weak on blood river, I guess I could switch to UNSC or pull a mo2 main and do stuff (smoothedtube).
Boring 1s essays aside I am very excited and then Halo Wars 2 we as a community are very lucky but towards the end of Halo Wars the community became too toxic, I hope too see lots of folks playing less boosters and more good players teaching folks.
The short version, the classy players please cone back but nasty exploiters and booters no one wants you. The boosters I am referring to the no lifes who create multiple accounts and boost leaderboards.
