Offline Multiplayer - Does it exist?

I saw on reddit that you can play online multiplayer with friends, but I don’t see how.

I’ve got a bachelor party coming up with friends, but we’re going to be far from quality internet, and I’d love to get some games going. I’m not seeing how.

Its a LAN, you need x how many consoles you want, an internet connection and either a router or switch that will allow you to use the amount of consoles you want

Hook them all up to the router/switch using the LAN ports on the device, set all Consols to LAN (local area network) and then fire it up in custom games

Sorry. I see a typo in my earlier post.

Is there a way to play split screen multiplayer OFFline? Just like the oldschool games.

No, splitscreen is not a thing in Halo infinite nor will it be a thing in halo infinite

another 343 broken promise
MCC however does support splitcreen co-op for boht campaign and matchmaking

I can’t believe those days are over.

Tired of MSFT pushing separate play, it ruins the core of what made gaming fun in the early 2000s.

There is a way to do it but I forgot how. I think it has something to do with starting the game, quitting it to get into the lobby, adding controllers, and then go offline in the settings or something like that. It was an article on Facebook I read that detailed how to do it.

It can be speculated that this could be the case, but they didn’t outright say the feature was cancelled permanently just put on hiatus until further notice.

Love your optimisum…but no, its been outright cancelled.

Hiarious thing is that it can be gltched into and works pretty well

Then please cite your claim.

My dude, it isn’t a claim

Here are hundreds of links after a 5 second google search which I am sure you will not find comelling at all

https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2022/09/microsoft-breaks-pledge-cancels-split-screen-halo-infinite-multiplayer/

https://hypebeast.com/2022/9/343-industries-halo-infinite-split-screen-co-op-mode-cancelled

https://press-start.com.au/news/xbox/2022/09/02/halo-infinite-local-splitscreen-co-op-has-been-cancelled-with-online-co-op-delayed-again/

https://www.eurogamer.net/halo-infinites-cancelled-split-screen-campaign-co-op-tested-and-its-excellent

And there are litterally hundreds of others

So either every single gaming journalism outlet is lying…or 343i cancelled split screen co-op

And if none of this compells you here is a quote from Joseph Staten himself
"“We have had to make the difficult decision to not ship split-screen campaign co-op,” Staten says, then confirms this is a deliberate decision to “take the resources we would use on that” to instead tackle other development priorities>

And you can try to shift the goal posts all you want and say “well he didn’t say its cancelled”
but my dude…seriously…stop…its dead…it’s not comming…its cancelled

You can play split screen multiplayer on console on Halo Infinite just not campaign. Unfortunately there is only 2 player split screen.

What you need to know. Assuming your planning to use Xboxes.
Only 2 people can play play per a console. To connect the console you will have to do it via LAN. You must make sure you have accounts already made for each person. You cannot play on a guest account. Look up a tutorial video.

Yea you can play split screen MP

no, you can have four people on split screen at once
