Offline multiplayer bots.

Not much to add. I just think it would be nice to have a halo game that had bots, similar to the black ops series of call of duty. Just imagine, full server BTB matches, anywhere, anytime. You could change the difficulty to make it more realistic, or have it Be a cakewalk, and just be able to play your forge maps even without wifi. I had an Xbox 360, and while I loved Halo 3 and Reach (still do), I didn’t have a live gold account, so I couldn’t play matchmaking, or even join my friends. Honestly, there’s no reason not to have bots. If you don’t want them, just disable them. Simple as that.

I feel ya. I remember this being requested back in Halo 3 days. It would be nice. Make for some good practice sessions.

Sadly, I don’t think you’ll see something like this. 10ish years ago, maybe. But now, I would be very surprised. Just solely based on the low utilization it’d get.

It’d be a service to a lot of folks with either spotty internet (still a thing, thanks Comcast), or people who just want to chill with friends as a team in custom games against AI.

Implementation wouldn’t be all that hard, from a precedent standpoint, since 343’s already shown capabilities of doing so with the AI enemies in Warzone in H5. Not to mention, they know the Slipspace Engine back to front, so they know everything about what it can and can’t do with regards to AI.

I’d imagine such a mode easy enough to implement but there’s probably no incentive for 343 or more likely MS to include such a mode. I’ve wanted an offline bots mode for a very long time and so have others but it never happens. Would love to be proved wrong and considering MS must be very eager to win fans over this time more than at any time, they could very well surprise. But I wont hold my breath

I’m hoping they at least figure out it’s a requested feature, since they’ve shown themselves able to do it. They definitely don’t lose anything for making it an option set in custom games, but stand to gain a bunch more players for minimal investment.

Though, admittedly, I can see AIs having some trouble navigating custom Forge maps, especially when we start digging into less conventional map designs.

Would be great but probably not going to be there
