Something that I think would help bolster the community is by having community events and maps that can be played, which don’t fall into the usual Halo multiplayer scene. I’m talking mongoose race maps where you get unlocks for completing in a certain time.
I remember people making jump maps that required precision jumps and tricks to finish. This would be a great way to teach newer players how to manipulate their environment, such as using the repulse equipment to trick jump. Would also make them more comfortable with traversal and movement through the practice. Or maybe even puzzle maps to finish.
The community have always made some really cool maps like this, so why not incorporate them into monthly challenges to secure unlocks or bonus exp for beating the map or doing so in a specific time. Something like this could definitely help longevity as it changes up the way the game is played, can be a more casual and fun experience and gets people sharing online their strategies for beating the maps in a quicker time to get the maximum rewards. Then of course you will also get the speedrun community going for world record times every month.
What do you guys and gals think?

More community content is always a big plus from me, I like the sound of it. It will be a great way to try some custom games that usually don’t get the attention they should.
I think the custom games browser will be a great addition anyway, but would also be good to get some community highlights.
Hopefully with a much larger audience they can cater to a much larger crowd consistently.
