Officially No Bot Bootcamp or PvE

trust me I do it alot everywhere when i get bored, I run and gun in the direction of the enemy sole intention is death for me in a way the anti bad sport system can’t detect and they ignore it when player’s are killed by players and not by their own hands

Hot damn, and people say PvP players are toxic. Love it. Good luck avoid the ban, especially after admitting to doing bannable actions on 343i’s own forum. Huge balls. Love it.

Ima have to save a link to this in case i see another “why was i banned thread” in the future.

With the number of people asking for the return of Bot Bootcamp both on this forum and on Reddit, hopefully 343 listens and brings it back in the not-too-distant future.

If they’re worried that Bot Bootcamp could make earning XP too easy, there are plenty of ways they could fix that. They could reduce the Match Completion bonus to 50xp (It’s 150xp for normal modes, 200xp for featured playlists, and 250xp for BTB) or they could remove the performance bonuses for MvP, winning, and being in the Top 50% of the team from Bot Bootcamp.

Nothing he did was wrong. Gaslighting is a sign that you’re lacking in empathy.

Self destruction is a bannable offense. Manipulating the automated ban system is another bannable offense.
She said she was doing both. It does not take a rocket scientist to see that what she is doing is wrong. It’s Funny. Ballsy, even. But still wrong. At the very least i thought i should give her a heads up.

If you’re gonna use big fancy words to sound smart, at least make sure that you know what you are talking about. Or you just end up looking like a complete idiot.

This game has literally been stressing me out since I was 7 years old back in 2001. I love Halo to the core of it and the social side of things is incredible. I had my wife playing bot boot camp to learn how to play with people. I already miss bot boot camp.

I guess perspective just changes things. But at this point I find those nail bitter games fire me up more when I’m playing.

A) You should quote what you are replying to next time or i’m going to assume you are replying to my last comment.

B) I didn’t even make that comment in this thread. Replay in the correct place next time.

C) I called the toxic people in the causal community toxic, not the whole community as a whole. If you’re gonna accuse someone of gaslighting, try not to gaslight.

D) I say it’s a fancy because some dumb people unironically use that word while they proceed to gaslight and act like they are above it.

E) You’re smoking crack if you think i’m a 343i defender.

Similar to how that causal person was being toxic, this is an example of a competitive toxic person. Ranked is open for everyone, not just those you want in it

That would be funny if someone else admitted hacking and cheating halo infinite on the forum and then start a topic of "why was I banned? ". I’d love to see it too

When I do play Rank I am actually playing seriously because i don’t want to ruin someone else’s rank ststus on purpose however it takes me 20 minutes or more to match for rank to even get my rank, I need like 8 more matches to get placed.

It’s stressful because I can’t enjoy halo games like I used to in multiplayer in the 2000’s, because of the rampant cheating from players on another gaming platform now. I can’t go 2 matches still without someone able to see my whole team through walls constantly from the other side of maps, multi-input instantaneously, & at times be outright invincible. If 343 actually fixed their game & handled it correctly, then pretty much everyone I know whom played the campaign at launch would be playing multiplayer now.

I’m sure there’s a way for pc, but I don’t know how on console it can be determined factually how many people are playing what game mode at any given time. That was a nice little feature we had in Halo 3 back in the day, but lacking it not now. All I know is there were far more than “the same 3 people” playing BB, because it offered groups of friends to play together to work towards the full season unlocks. As of this update I know of 9 players whom ceased playing the game outright because they cant progress their main seasons now through PvE, part because they aren’t PvP players & also because they can’t stand borderline unrestricted cheating.

As other’s have said, it’s clear 343 is desperate to funnel player count to their pvp game modes, since they know the finally unacceptably long wait for multiplayer campaign mode is out & will pull some players from PvP.

You can’t really improve PvP numbers by removing PvE game modes, those players just stop playing the game outright…so yeah you literally force the opposite effect of player count increase to the game & it’s not like spartan customization micro transactions aren’t toggled on for BB, so it’s not like that game mode actually hurt their microtransaction sales.

At this point it just seams 343 is too stubborn to admit the bad calls they’ve made, so they double down with stubborn & desperate moves to try & save face, which actually is just making less people play the game rather than improve player count long term.

I’m sorry you’re running into that many cheaters. I think I see them here and there, but not as often as you claim. It sucks. Really I think it sucks just switching from 20 ping to just 60 ping, anything over is even worse, those require me to change how I play game to game - so if some does have an unfair advantage through cheating - it’s even worse. .

I actually agree on bot bootcamp, they should have just kept it. Sounds like itll come back. Exactly 0 of my remaining 18 infinite friends play it, so yea none of us even noticed it was gone. And for what it’s worth, 343 did say hardly anyone was playing it. But you do have valid points - people who want PvE aren’t going to play PvP. No doubt. And yea 343 has been doubling down on many things.

Yea lots of games removed those player counts because if something isn’t the highest, it’s dead. Have no one to blame but people who obsess over the numbers. I remember h4 being the last console fps I actually played a bit of with playlist numbers and seeing everything other than team slayer less than 1k players less than 3 months post launch was sad. Even then, team slayer was only 10k. And it just kept dropping obviously.

You can find people saying anything outside the top 5 on xbox most played is dead. Meanwhile my friends and I can play the same nba game we like from 4 years ago and still find games in a few minutes, dead or not - don’t need a lot of people to actually play most games.

It’s good to know you’re not a 343 defender. It seemed like you were defending their decision to remove the gamemode. Still it’s not the players’ fault if they get frustrated because they’re forced to play something they don’t like.

A) Being upset is not a free pass to be a jerk
B) Nobody is forced to keep playing Infinite if there is nothing in it they like. Time is preciouses, find a game you enjoy that makes you feel like your time spent playing it was respected. Continuing to play this game is a personal choice, it’s the one thing you can’t lay blame on 343i.
