Official statement from Ske7ch

ok, but with all due respect to the venerable and super-cool street-rebel ske7ch, if this breaks the UI, then the UI is poorly made. :man_shrugging:

Battle royale is overhype and normalized mundane hot dumpster juice that only streamers and sweaty wannabes actually give a crap about.

They need to expand ranked playlists and add custom games browser. Battle royale would be absolute doo doo with halo and I doubt anyone would play it except children who watch too much ninja, timthetatman, or any other BR streamer.

The answer is no keep that garbage out of halo infinite. There’s plenty other things they can do besides that.

Wow that’s a well constructed take on a game genre.

Or how about this. Slayer playlist, Objective playlist, and a Quick Play playlist that finds a game from one of those other playlists and puts you in the first available one because you’re willing to play either, but you want to be matched quickly.

This should be the definition of Battle Royale in the Cambridge Dictionary.

Summary

Not too mention halo infinite multiplayer is free to play, add a battle royale and the flood gates of PC prom night dumpster baby script kiddies hacking their nuts off just to hopefully stream snipe some streamer just they can post it to their TikTok or Instagram…….

Battle royales are literal toxic waste scraped from the caverns of Chernobyl reactor 4 itself.

There’s nothing constructive that comes from a battle royale………and so help me if they add emotes to halo infinite im out…….

You have an irrational reaction to a game mode. I couldn’t even imagine being this angry at grifball. Lol.

Grifball? I love me some griffball dude, battle royale no. Not because of the gameplay but because of the audience it attracts

You simply don’t play the game mode. I don’t get mad that grifball is on a playlist, I just move on.

and I would do the same honestly, it’s what I did for cod, never touched warzone, don’t care for it.

But the audience that warzone attracts is straight toxic and I don’t care for it and don’t want it in halo multiplayer.

Those streamers are going to play Halo whether or not it has a BR, and they are going to subsequently attract this mob of followers as you describe, again, no matter what. It doesn’t matter though you kill them in game, get the win, and move on.

Once again you are right, but when streamers come over and play (without a battle royale) much more few will follow. And you won’t have a 150-200 person lobby full of toxic waste. It will still be 4v4 arena with skill based gameplay around map design and power weapon controll.

Do you have mic on or something? I’ve long since muted the internet. And you’ll get that regardless of BR too.

Lol that actually made me laugh you got me there.

No one using a mic = no team work = pile of poop.

If you are offended by someone just mute that guy.

When did people stopped using a mic. How old are you guys?

That’s why we need crossplay toggle

Haha. Because I don’t like this:
cough cough
snort
baby cries
snack bag crinkling
snort snort
baby cries
cough

It’s amazing that a box fan can go from my sleep aide of choice to a cheese grater in the ear when heard over a mic.

Because when you’re trying to listen to details in game, then it comes blasting in, you lose all that focus.

Make no mistake. This was never going to release a year ago.
