I would say itâs likely because he felt it needed to be posted on reddit, due to the death threats and toxicity from both sides that the conversation was receiving on there. However, I would like to see this kind of stuff posted on Waypoint as well (if itâs not already)

I can understand Twitter because of retweets, quote retweets, and @ mentioning friends, but Reddit? Visibility is just poor there unless youâre swimming in upvotes, and Ske7ch wouldnât have gotten upvotes for that statement.

Anyone who pays for the battle pass or campaign is paying for them too⌠but thatâs just not enough money to let people play the game and access all the same features and content they used to be able to, apparently.

They made it free! Upkeep costs money! How could they have known and what other choice did they have!
I disagree I have seen tons of tons of the same constructive criticism of the game. Not attacking them just speaking facts about how we donât end up with 5k players on Halo 5 again. They always get so close.

Itâs not fair that players are being mean towards the devs. They have to pay their bills and out food in their table. How else would Microsoft pay to keep the servers operational if we donât buy the battle pass and spend our money on the great deals in the storefront.

Anyone who says 343 doesnât deserve criticism or hate for being incompetent needs to read this quote and digest it. Crocker is flat out saying we didnât finish it after a 6 year dev cycle. Sheer. Utter. Incompetence.

I wasnât really bothered by it, but thatâs still a pretty weird thing to not have on launch.
This game clearly needed another 6-12 month delay. Theyâre basically launching half a halo game worth of content. But theyâll happily take your $1000 for it. Servers cost money you know.
What on earth were they thinking of releasing a year ago?

I like the gameplay but ashamed of everything else that 343 did. You had it right with MCC but felt the need to f⌠everything up.
Letâs force players to crossplay.
If their party is 3+ donât let them choose input either
Donât give them that many customization combinations and options (even though we had it right w MCC)
Letâs make the progression system way worse than any other halo game
Letâs sell HCS armor sets at $10 but make sure players canât use a single thing in the battle pass to customize those armors.
Letâs make sure players donât have that many game playlist and maps even though halo games always had different game modes and plenty of maps.
Letâs make items in the store super expensive - how about $10 for pineapple cosmetic grenades?
Like what were they thinking? I started playing Halo CE when I was 15 and never seen anything like this.
The only thing I can give them credit for is the gameplay.

I applaud 343 for:
No Battle royale
No emotes
No load outs
Useful AR
Crossplay enabled
Reach styles armor that is less cartoony then halo 5
Early release of multiplayer
Things I bash 343 for:
Over monetization
Garbage progression system
Paywall for customization
Crappy color schemes that you have to pay for
Battle pass full of boost and swaps
Horrible mechanics and default setting for aiming and movement
Melee feels goofy
Other than that Iâm enjoying the game so far

It also doesnât have game modes other Halos have yet either, I wouldnât count this one just yet.
And who cares, just donât play it? I donât like grifball, but you donât see me going âthankfully thereâs no grifball right now, whew!â

You can have a slayer playlist and a slayer + objective playlist in the same universe. It doesnât break the spacetime continuum.
Am I missing something because this doesnât seem like rocket science to me.
Apparently it does, in fact, break the UI they developed.
