If you still have not received your halo 4 specialization code you will not get one. The official thread has closed. That means they are not dealing with it anymore. If you were screwed over by 343 you can rant and/or rave in this thread, since the official thread has been officially shut down. Also if any of you have recently contacted Xbox customer support As per BS Angel’s advice, please post what they told you.

You are NOT getting a code. You WILL be able to access the specs when the rest of the world is able to.

I don’t see them keeping them locked away much longer. Best guess would be when they add the CSR.

Well I’m done as soon as I cap 70. No point in wasting all that XP. Enjoyed the game so far just need to wait for them to release and update for specs. But if they are going to release 2 at a time then I’m just plain done with this game. No point in stopping and starting stopping and starting.

I have posted this information every day since the 3rd of December i meet all qualifications to receive the code. It was sent to an invalid and disabled email account i have since updated my Xbox contact information. Friends of mine of posted later than me have received code via Xbox live message. I am hoping they will get to me sometime until then i will continue to do the only thing i can post and wait.

also removing the specialization thread and hoping all these people would magically disappear was not cool 343

I’ve had xbl ten years. If they really were stupid enough to send out an email to the email address in the billing info section of my account, that is their fault not mine. It has been 10 years since that address was relevant to my account. I’ve checked the one actually associated with my account for days now (including the spam folder), the one I actually use to sign into windows live. This problem could have been easily prevented. Their inability to fix it for us who have been -Yoinked!- over is contemptible. Not only did I not get an email, I never got a message over xbl with the code. Nor did I receive this over xbl:

Has anyone actually received this? I haven’t heard of one actually receiving it.

I fit the criteria, give me the code or find some way to unlock it for those who haven’t gotten the code they are owed. This problem isn’t going away 343, stop ignoring us.

343 are failures, this game could have been great, but they decided to lock half the population at 70 and let the other half go to 130, then they sell arguably the worst halo map pack ever and give it away for free shortly after, and on top of all this they don’t even acknowledge their huge mistakes. They should have done everyone right by unlocking specializations for all and repaying everyone that wasted their money on dlc. But instead they just try to cover it up and act like its all part of the plan. While I know it’s partly microsoft’s fault it’s 343s game and they should take responsibility for coming up with the stupid of idea specializations in a sad attempt to make more money, and for not listening to the community at all when making maps. From day 1 you could tell this game hadn’t been polished up properly and they had rushed it to meet their deadline of beating COD to the market. You have to question whether they even play tested this game with all the glitches and map exploits, and their terrible user interface (a huge downgrade from reach’s).

I don’t even care anymore, their are other games much MUCH better games…

:(… Im hurt 343, and really disappointed. I expected more out of the way yall would handle issues and the way you would present the Halo series. Yall have succeeded in putting a black eye on halo now for many people. I dont understand how you are ok with the way yall handled (or the lack of…) this game. I was going to buy the season pass, but now with no code (ever) and no feedback, I probably wont. So thanks, I was super excited and even went to the midnight release, but now I wish I kinda didn’t. I even had a big test the next day but was too pumped and now it was totally not worth it!! I’m not flaming mad, Im just disappointed, and want my code which yall promised. Come on step up and admit yall messed up. Everyone does, just fix it. If i ignore a problem its not going to go away and if yall ignore this, its just going to bother yall until it is fixed too. Dont think yall are better because yall are some big corporation. People expected a lot out of this and it really missed the mark. So PLEASE, I just want my code! FIX IT!! (So hope you enjoy my 60 bucks, if i dont get a code or unlocks to the specializations, yall are defiantly not getting my 30 or so dollars for the maps and other stuff!)

Bottom line? 343 and microsoft mucked up bad. I don’t even wana play the game anymore because theres no point once i’ve reached level 70…I’m at level 66 and I did match allllllll the criteria. But like everybody else 343 and microsoft seem to just wana make their fans bitter :confused: I mean for goodness sakes it’s Christmas! We bought your game, some of us the second we could! we play and play and then we get screwed over like it’s no big deal. :confused: it just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth and many others posting on the forums. Not sure how much I’ll wana play now. They honestly should just unlock it for everyone and if they charge for the unlock? I’ll be quite angry and i’m sure others will be too. it’s like taking people who bought the game and then saying “oop! nope! you only get HALF of the content! :3” even to people who bought the season pass! (me included unfortunately) I just…ugh stuff like this makes you wonder where their customer service is… probably on holidays by now XP
