Searching Waypoint isn’t very intuitive, nor does it “quickly” yield useable results.
Does anyone have a collection of either Waypoint threads, or threads from halowars.com?
I’m looking for some intro/baseline information. My son and I recently started playing on our respective consoles. So far I’m having a blast and ready to venture out into MM.
Hello. I was able to find a very old beginner’s guide from the original halo wars site. The advice is pretty general, so if you or your son have any specific questions, don’t hesitate to ask! I’d be happy to give advice.

@RPGStylee - i got that exception message this morning as well. It seems it and Waypoint were having issues for the past couple of hours.

It’s not the greatest Anders guide, but it’ll do for the little guys.

That’s actually a pretty good guide, considering it was made less than a month after the game was released. Here’s one written by Studmuffin around a year ago. It’s a little more advanced, but there’s no harm in practicing good builds right away.

Stud’s guide is a great start and if you want to practice any of this or play send me a message on my account “Not Retarted” I have a full friends list now so mssg me and we can arange scrims and play and whatnot
