An Image which shows that the photos have been heavily edited by numerous different programs (posted and verified by several Waypoint users)
Peter Knepley(Senior Multiplayer Programmer of Epic Games)States “Fake News” and it being a “great troll”
And finally an image of Frank O’connor shutting down something stated in that false information.

So relax everyone

Random weapon placement, but i believe it will have random weapon spawn timers.
and the info is real, so just stop.

And why would a Senior Multiplayer Programmer of Epic Games say that this information is false?
Frank straight out says that they said nothing about random weapon placements while this so called information states the total opposite.
And finally, the proof of the images being heavily edited.
I think these game informer leaks are smear campaign created by a angry fanboy
I <3 how one of your “official” sources is an Epic games employee who is not associated with 343i in any way.
Oh my bloody God. Glad to hear random weapon spawning has been debunked.
I like how the article mentioned campaign though. Sounds exciting. As well Spartan Ops. sounds pretty cool, just has a bloody lame name.
I suppose all ‘leaked’ info is indeed just a trol’s bit of fun.
Just sounds like a really good troll to me haha.
There is random weapon drops, and NONE of this is a troll job. It’s all real.
I do think this is fake, I won’t draw any conclusions yet however. But I think most people here underestimate what pranksters are capable of.

this would be impossible to do in 2 days, especially with screens we have not received yet.
There is a video of someone flipping through the magazine on YouTube. It’s as real as it gets.

Pictures or indeed the magazine itself being leaked is perfectly possible. Adding text to it is also perfectly possible and can easily be done in even a few hours.
They’re real. I’d bet a large amount of money on it…
Just head on over to the Halo section of the gamespot forums and see for yourself.
A guy gave me a link of a picture he took of the GI. I’ll be -Yoink!- if it’s a fake.
However, Frankie DID debunk the random weapon spawns. So, possibly, GI played a certain gametype which had them and assumed all gametypes 'd have them. Whatever the case, I hope 343i will elaborate soon. To be quite honest, the only thing I have real issues with is instant spawning.
Then again, I still have faith in them.
[Removed the link to the picture. You can all find it, and I don’t want 343 banning my lovely -Yoink-.]

Yeah, I saw it too.
