so, i know i can’t be the only person who has thought of this idea of halo ce getting forge, but with the recent updates on the mcc, especially the big one coming up for modding, i think now would be the perfect time for halo ce to get some official form of forge. i know it would likely be a pretty big task, but it would bring such a renewal to halo ce’s multiplayer, especially custom games. new forge maps, new modes, it’d all be pretty nice.
I think the focus will be on Halo CE’s mod tools - Forge outside of the game, basically.

The Halo CE editing kit is already more powerful than whatever forge tool 343 or modders could cobble together. If you really want to experience a “renewal” of CE you best bet is to get a steam copy of the game and wait for workshop support. Maybe they could bring some maps from PC to console, but a Bona fide map editor is out of the question.
