Launching in fall 2015 exclusively on Xbox One, Halo 5: Guardians continues the story of the Master Chief, and introduces a brand new central character to the Halo universe – Spartan Locke. Peace is shattered when colony worlds are unexpectedly attacked. And when humanity’s greatest hero goes missing, Spartan Locke is tasked with hunting the Master Chief and solving a mystery that threatens the entire galaxy.
So not much new info, but fun none-the-less. It looks like the Covenant Storm or Prometheans are starting to attack colonies (Or the Flood ) and obviously Master Chief is missing. Locke’s job is to find Chief and… Solve a mystery? A mystery that threatens the entire galaxy. The only thing that I can think of that can destroy the galaxy is the Flood or the Halo rings firing. But why would the Halo rings mysteriously fire?
Well if a Peace is broken then it’s the Covenant attacking since we never had a peace with the Prometheans or Flood. Besides that we knew everything else though.

Well, I don’t know if by “peace” they mean a treaty or just a lack of fighting in the galaxy.
Sounds interesting, but I hope we play as Master Chief most of the game. Halo 2s campaign really slowed down for me when it switched to playing as the Arbiter. On a side note, I’m really disappointed that the collectors edition is $250.00. Hopefully it’s statue is like TitanFalls. If it is then I could see purchasing it to put it in a display case in my game room.
So in other words, the Storm Covenant is back with a vengeance and the UNSC has to team up with the Arbiter’s Faction to hold them back while Locke and Chief try to dig deeper to find whatever dark truth is lurking behind all of this?

Thing is, humanity is way more powerful than during the Covenant War. Looking at the way the fiction seems to be going, I think biological weapons will be used to weaken the UNSC a bit, hence the need for the help of Arby and his dudes.
