I think 343i needs to realize something. Without us, the consumer purchasing their product, they have nothing. In saying that, of course they should and will make their own decisions on what actually goes into Halo 4, but it would be a HUGE mistake to ignore our requests for this game, for we are the people who on November 6th will be the ones that they will depend on buying the game.
So we shall make our Halo 4 wishlists, and not so much demand, but strongly encourage them to listen
Here’s mine:
-
Multiplayer bots (either for customs/matchmking): Basically, something like Combat Training in Black Ops.
-
Rank system: I don’t care if it’s a 1-50 system, A-Z, or if you use pictures of fruits to denote ranks, as long as a person only gets rank for WINNING games, not just playing them.
-
NO BLOOM!: Seriously, no bloom on ANY weapons (or at the very least allow us to remove it in customs [refer to #4).
-
TRUE customizable options: I hated that in Halo 3 you couldn’t make the beam rifle or carbine the starting weapon. Or that you couldn’t choose between frags OR plasmas for starting grenades. So make sure we can add or remove essentially anything we like/do not want in the game (like bloom, sprint, weapon options, et cetera)
-
Individual weapon damage option: In Halo 3 if you wanted a weapon to be more powerful you could increases player damage, but that would not just make say the BR stronger, but as well the AR, grenades, and so fourth. Equally so, if you just altered the shields, that would affect the player with all forms of damage. So for every weapon there should be an option to increase/decrease its own damage. For example, I could make the BR a 4 shot kill weapon without making any of the other weapons stronger (or make it weaker if that’s what you decide to do in your custom games). Either way, the point is to be able to change an individual weapon’s damage without affecting the damage power of other weapons.
Well, that’s my wish list. Your turn!
I think you mean the Official Unofficial Halo 4 Wishlist thread.

I think you, and a lot of other people on the Halo 4 Forum need to realize something. Without 343, Halo 4 wouldn’t even exist. Bungie gave up on Halo, and 343 took over and decided to make more games. I think we should all just trust that 343 knows what they’re doing, and they aren’t going to ruin Halo 4. I do admit that not everyone will like the changes they’re making, but you can’t please everyone. There will always be people that hate the game for whatever reason, and they know that, so they are making the changes that they think people want, but also work with the other aspects of the game.
With that said, I think we should all stop begging 343 to change Halo 4 because chances are, they won’t make any dramatic changes to the game based on what they may or may not see in these Forums. We should just appreciate the fact that we’re getting Halo 4 at all. From what I see here, though, it looks like that might be too much to ask.

343i is not a company that just sprung up on its own. Microsoft created 343. And Bungie did not quit, Microsoft didn’t renew their contract. And you say that we should just trust 343? You mean like how we just trusted Bungie with Reach, and bought the game with eagerness and high expectations only to find out how much of a failure the game is?
You seriously have it all backwards bro. These big corporations need YOU, not the other way around. Without you spending your money to purchase their product, their product will inevitably fail.
Period
I’d be happy if the Forerunners were the new enemy, according to the Forerunner trilogy the human race warred with them over 100,000 years ago and we defeated them, then later when the war started again the human race was defeated because they had been severely weakened by the initial flood infestation, now in 2557 the human race has been severely diminished by the war with the Covenant, interesting to see that conflict.
Gonna miss firefight but at least we get to keep Forge.
I want bots in A halo game !!!
