It seems to me like an overwhelming percentage of halo players are extremely dissatisfied with all these ridiculous CoD-esque additions. If I wanted to play CoD, I would play it. I play halo to play halo.
It seems as if the 343 developers didn’t listen to a damn word of feedback that was given about reach considering they are bringing back bloom and AAs which were the two most hated aspects of reach. Now they’re adding a laundry list of features stolen directly from CoD. If halo 4 and CoD were books, halo 4 wouldn’t make it to the shelf due to plagiarism.
I honestly feel that the only way we can properly convey our disappointment is to simply not buy the game or at least wait before buying it. I love halo, been an avid fan since see CE. I will probably buy halo 4, but I’m going to wait a couple weeks. Since money seems to be all they care about, not giving it to them might be the only way to get them to listen.
Halo 4 is looking great xAcey. Dont give up on it. Yes, I understand you are possibly not going to like the changes and yes I hated alot of reach’s stuff too as u personally know but give halo 4 a chance. I think the AAs might be able to work this time.
sigh… im starting to hate my generation and the generation of the late early 90’s so much now. they feel like they are entitled to what they want and only want they want instead of the world or the community as a whole… sigh…
Halo has been playing the same for 10 years now, tell me one game out there plays the same 10 years later? We need change in halo for it to compete with newer games. If it doesn’t, Halo will be left in the back of the gaming world and then forgotten. It needs new features. Please tell me, what Kind of features would you add to halo 4 to be different without changing the core gameplay?
You haven’t even played the game nor do you even know about more than 10% of the game and you are boycotting it? How can you people call yourself hard core fans when ALL you care about is the competitive part of Multiplayer/ Matchmakingking?

no H3 was #1-2 up until reach came.
Reach “changed” and halo fell from grace and went to #6. there is no evidence that halo has to change. please provide evidence for your opinion
Heh, do you realize the forum is a minority of the Halo community? There are no doubt hundreds of thousands awaiting Halo 4. And while I have seen a lot of loud-mouth complainers, I haven’t seen an overwhelming majority disliking the game. Most of those here are regaining faith with more info.
Hundreds of thousands will buy Halo 4, hundreds of thousands will enjoy it. Your “boycott” likely wouldn’t dent the sales.
You don’t need to do this to yourself, dude. They have MLG players who have said that it still feels like a Halo game. There is not only still a lot we don’t know yet, and the things that they have done don’t really break the game.

Sorry OP, but a majority likes what they see, but they might not be posting similar topics or complaining about the same stuff over and over, or refusing to acknowledge new fact that just shows how wrong they were about the game.
You remind me of those guys that started the “Boycott CoD:MW2 thread”, sadly it died shortly after the game released since everyone was playing CoD: MW2 (true story). Same will happen to you, 6/11 or 11/6 you’ll probably be playing Halo 4 too ^^
Halo 4=COD: Space Edition. Its so obvious what 343 is doing, and I am just going to watch it blow in their faces. Nothing is CODier than COD, and I don’t understand why 343 can’t develop the game into a Halo, not weapon progression and custom loadouts.
But this is just my opinion. I’m sure the campaign can’t be too bad though (And hopefully make sense. Sorry Reach.)
