We are pretty much just two weeks away from the Halo 5 game. Has the official list be released yet? And what pod casters have stepped up to do the prep talk about the run through?
It hasn’t been released/leaked. I’m quite impressed actually. I believe Halo 4 and MCC’s achievements were released/leaked a month or two in advance.
In fact, so far, the game has had very little leaks info wise, and that’s pretty impressive altogether. Hopefully it stays that way now that it has gone gold, which is where most of the serious leaking issues start popping up.
I really want to see this list too. I’ve lost a lot of steam on the Halo achievements for MCC. I have every achievement pre-MCC (even counting all versions of Spartan Strike and Spartan Assaualt)… but the lack of creativity of MCC achievements (most identical to old & par time / score for each, etc) really turned me off in general (not hard, just not fun).

However, if the Halo 5 ones are traditional Halo achievements (no thanks to cop outs like par score / par time on each mission) then I will likely take the time to get all of Halo 5 achievements and go back and slowly take care of MCC. I’m J Teeps and I’m addicted to Halo Waypoint completion… lol
It’s annoying too b/c I don’t even look at achievement in any other games (literally), but Bungie got me with the vid master unlocks way back in the day and having the cool ‘Halo Waypoint Career page’ (since removed by 343) that showed special armor unlocks, every missing achievement, etc (miss those days!).

Halo 3 was definitely the hardest, the day I got the Laser kill in lonewolves, led to me running through my house yelling. It was good times. Haha But I’m interested to see the new achievements for this game, hopefully have some challenging ones.

I ran through the house yelling from that achievement too, except for me it was on all the times I got 1 person just after the 2nd intended target died 
I’ve only got 25 achievements left in MCC before I 100% everything. I don’t think I’ll be done before Halo 5 comes out, though. That’s okay, it gives me a reason to go back to MCC. 
I hope they reveal the Halo 5 cheevos soon, though.

It’s like at this point I get them all b/c it’s ‘what I have always done’ (no rewards anymore like cool armor, and no ‘Waypoint career page’ with all the cool stats… but I can’t stop now!). It’s like I don’t care and I’m not interested… Yet I REALLY care and I’m REALLY interested b/c of the money and time that has gone into it. With having a wife, house, dog and soon kid… The MCC repetitiveness and ‘quantity over quality’ almost broke me, but I think Halo 5 can keep my (pointless and wasteful) dream of ‘having them all’ alive. *smh in shame…

I remember I got that one on accident before I even went after achievements. But I do remember it was that map where a team starts at the shore and the other spawns in the base up top. I managed to grab the Spartan Lazer mid-match up in the sniper tower in the right looking down towards the short and blasted a dude on a mongoose that was being hyjacked.
They will probably drop to the public before too long. I’d like a nice healthy balance between campaign and multiplayer achievements, and hopefully minimal “get 3 triple kills in one game” types of achievements.
There are a handful of confirmed achievements from warzone gameplay. Stuff like purchase 3 REQs and complete 3 Warzone matches are achievements that we know of so far.

They are literly going to make you BUY achievements?! No earning them through skill, grinding, or halo styled (dumb luck), it’s literly going to be me going to the market place and fork over $20 for 3 in game items I will never use and Beep-boop, achievement unlocked!

You purchase REQ packs with REQ points, so you don’t actually have to spend a single penny. Obviously no one was able to spend real money at the events.

They can be purchased with REQ points (in game earned currency) or with real money, so not really. I’m not sure if you use money to buy REQ points, or buy the packs entirely, but Gold packs are definitely obtainable without further purchase

I used to have a screen shot on my file share where my lazor went through a Spartan’s legs, impaled an elite, and then hit another Spartan on Construct. Sadly, both the Spartans were already in full ‘Havoc ragdoll mode’, but I still feel to this day that it should have counted. Milliseconds man, miliseconds.
Oh and Koalt FortyFive, I may hate you just a little bit. I know I don’t know you, so it’s not personal, but your story made me feel sad and defeated :’(

Oh. I have had a nightmare with tons of other achievements as I would spend hours every day trying to get them were all my friends were like, “you don’t all ready have that?! I got it by accident fooling around”.
